It’s basically a band in your pocket to play along to at any tempo, in any key, for any song with doezens of musical style options (i.e. medium swing, gypsy jazz, bluegrass, funk, disco, tango, new orleans, blues, and the list goes on and on….)”

Here’s what the website says:

iReal Pro offers an easy-to-use tool to help musicians of all levels master their art. Our app simulates a real-sounding band that can accompany you as you practice, and also lets you collect chord charts from your favorite songs for reference.

It’s a Book… It’s a Band…

Collect chord charts of all your favorite songs and access them anywhere on your phone, tablet or Mac. Plus, find just a tap away,  thousands of charts in all styles ready to be downloaded from the forums for free.

Play along with a realistic sounding band for incredibly fun practice. Choose between 50 different accompaniment styles that use a variety of instruments.

Edit any chart to fit your choice of chords, or create your own charts from scratch. Generate great sounding backing tracks for any chord chart.

Teach yourself to play the Guitar, the Piano or the Ukulele with help from the Guitar Chords, Piano Chords and Ukulele Chords. These will show you the exact chord diagrams as you play through a song.

Use iReal Pro in the classroom with a projector and speakers or create playlists of exercises to send to your students to work on at home. Used by top music schools around the world.

Choose a group of measure that you want to focus on and loop them. Challenge yourself with the popular automatic tempo increase and automatic transposition at each repeat.
